Unique User ID: Your items are placed into a shopping
cart which assign you a unique 32 digit User ID. If any digit
in the URL is incorrect, then the order cannot be viewed.
Secure Transmissions: Once you begin your "checkout"
process, you will be directed to the secure server immediately
prior to being asked to enter any confidential information.
Any information entered into your browser and transmitted
at any time after filling in your payment information is encrypted
for your protection. This means that even in the highly unlikely
even that the data is intercepted by any unauthorized persons,
it cannot be decrypted or read by them.
Secure Server Software: The Quilting Barn's
secure server software (SSL) is the premier software available
for secure commerce transactions.
Data Storage Practices: Many sites store credit card
numbers on their servers indefinitely. We do NOT do so, because
we believe that by doing so, we would be inviting hackers
to gain access to the database and retrieve these numbers.
Your credit card number is NEVER STORED ON OUR SERVERS. Because
we use "real time" payment methods, this means that
your encrypted credit payment information is processed by
the credit card processing company (Authorize.net), and the
information is never stored on our web servers, not even temporarily.
This offers an extremely high level of protection for your
confidential information. Once the order is received, our
staff visits our site, verifies your order, and then places
the order in "processed" status. Only the order
and other billing information remain. Your credit card information
is NEVER stored, nor passed via email thereby eliminating
two of the most likely chances of the data being compromised
or stolen.
Prompt Response: If, at any time, you are uncomfortable
with your order, or feel that it has been compromised in some
way, please contact us at delores@quiltingbarn.com
or by phone at 1 (903) 566-3518.
Secure Server Certificate: You can verify the authenticity
of the Secure Server certificate which we are using by clicking
onto your browser’s "Security" button for
security certificate information.
